Postcard To Christmas
Unfortunately due to high cost of printing and a decline of particiapting businesses, we have decided to not do the Postcard to Christmas for 2023. Instead, we will encourage businesses in our service area to do their own in store draws in the month of December. The Chamber will suport businesses by posting their draws. However, we do have some other campaigns for December to get you shopping local!!!!
Adopt A Senior Pilot Project
New for 2023 is a pilot project in partnership with Diamond Spring Lodge to help lift the spirits of some of our seniors during this holiday season. We have also partnered with Redwate Red Apple Store to have our Chamber tree decorated with gift tags with seniors names. On the back of the tag, will be a couple of items that you can shop for. We will gift bag the items for the Seniors and deliver them prior to Christmas. For more information, please call Nicole at 587-991-7049.
2nd Annual Santa's Toy Store
This intiative was started in 2022 as a partnership with the Redwater Food Bank, FCSS Redwater, FCSS Thorhild County and us to help provide toys to faimilies that need a helping hand during the holiday season. It was so well received that this will be an annual event. This year, Santa's Toy Store will be open for one day only on December 19th from 12 pm - 3 pm by appointment only for families in Redwater and East of Opal Road South. Redwater Red Apple Store Annual Toy Drive
Be sure to stop in at Redwater Red Apple Store between now and December 9th to purchase a toy that will be given to families in our community that could use a helping hand this Christmas. 5% of toy sales will be donated to the Redwater Food Bank.
The Annual Fill A Sleigh event will be on December 9th. Be sure to stop in and enjoy activities during the day. More info coming.
